The 'Love Jihad' ordinance mandates jail term of 1-5 years with Rs 15,000 penalty for forceful religious conversion. For conversions of minors & women of SC/SC community, there will be jail term of 3-10 years with Rs 25,000 penalty.

Uttar Pradesh government has decided to attachproperties of those found guilty of manufacturing illicit liquor. Strict action will be imposed on violators which will include heavy fines against accused. 

“Coronavirus hasn’t vanished. It has weakened but it’s still there. Prevention is the most effective method to counter this menace,” tweeted CM Yogi while making an appeal to people to observe festival at home.

A virtual fair for ODOP products was organized for the first time in Uttar Pradesh. It had 572 stalls of products from all the districts. 35 countries participated in it and 57000 people showed interest in purchasing the products.
