New Delhi: Multinational tech firm Apple reportedly commenced its latest model iPhone 13’s trial production in December last year. Now, almost four months after its initial phase, the company has officially begun production at Foxconn’s plant in Sriperumbudur near Chennai.
“We are excited to begin making iPhone 13 — with its beautiful design, advanced camera systems for stunning photos and videos, and the incredible performance of the A15 Bionic chip — right here in India for our local customers,” said Apple in a statement.
With the recent announcement, iPhone lovers across the country are elated, while many are anticipating a price drop for the latest smartphone.
The company has clarified that there has been no price reduction for iPhone 13 yet, but it may consider some changes in the coming months.
