New Delhi: Streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar is showing an error and people are complaining that the OTT service is not working. A similar issue can be witnessed in both the app and the website. While fans were eager to watch the second Test match between India and Australia, and ‘The Night Manager’, the streaming platform stopped working on February 17.
Disney+ Hotstar is showing PB-4000, NM 4000 and MN 1002 errors, which also indicate that the platform might not be able to detect the users’ location. The app simply shows a blank screen with the company’s logo on the top, which indicates that there are issues to be resolved at the backend.
Some users also tried to re-login and re-installing the app, but the issue persists. While Jio Cinema has been criticised in the past for buffering and errors, it is a rare situation where Disney+ Hotstar experienced such a big error.
It is a big day for the cricket fraternity as the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and the Ranji Trophy finals are all streaming on Disney+ Hotstar in India. Fans are missing a lot of cricketing action and are sharing their views on Twitter. On the other hand, some are confused is it only their device or if the service is really not working.
