New Delhi: Owing to a technical snag, the services of Google’s Gmail stopped working across the world on Saturday. This created a big problem for the users in sending the mail on App as well as Desktop. Google so far did not issue any statement about how the problem occurred.

The problem was flagged by Downdetetor.com, writing, ”A spark spike in Gmail outage status over the past hour.” Notably, over 1.5 billion users are complaining of undelivered emails and an unresponsive Gmail app.
Soon after the disruption of Gmail services, many people took to Twitter to share their reactions. A few users did not miss the chance to share funny memes under the hashtag — gmail down.
