Good news for Apple fans, iPhone 14 might launch before than expected

According to Max Weinbach, the iPhone 14 is set to launch on September 6, while the sale will start from September 16 onwards.

New Delhi: There is good news for Apple fans waiting for the upcoming iPhone 14 to be launched. The new iPhone series is said to launch before it was expected, however, the month remains the same while there might be a change in the date.

According to Max Weinbach, the iPhone 14 is set to launch on September 6, while the sale will start from September 16 onwards. Tweeting about the same, he wrote, ” fwiw I heard September 6th event and iPhone’s on sale on the 16th, not 100% sure, but around there seems right.”

As Weinbach said, the news might not be true, but it is still being expected that the launch date can be anywhere near September 6. There were reports that there might be a delay in the launch of the iPhone 14 series, due to tensions between China and Taiwan. But now it seems like Apple has managed to find a solution to it.

Recently, US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan. Her visit has put a bigger strain on the China-Taiwan relationship and this might affect Apple as Pelosi visited various manufacturers, including Apple suppliers like TSMC and Pegatron. According to Reuters, Apple told suppliers that China has started enforcing a long-standing rule that Taiwanese-made parts and components must be labelled as made either in “Taiwan, China” or “Chinese Taipei.” This situation was expected to affect the production for the firm, which is reportedly finding ways to take the production process outside China.

Pricing

Some reports say that the iPhone 14 will cost $799 in the US, which is around Rs 63,622 in India when converted. However, it is expected to have a similar price as that of the iPhone 13, which was launched for Rs Rs 79,990.
