New Delhi: Ending all the rumours in the market, Google on Friday evening confirmed to launch of Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The release date has been set for October 6 at 9:30 PM. The device will be sold via Flipkart in India. However, the sale date is yet not revealed.

The latest development came after the company confirmed to bring the device to India on September 21 on Twitter. Both phones will offer 5G connectivity to users.

Google Pixel 7 expected features and price

Google is expected to offer a display of 6.3-inch with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The phone will be powered by a Google Tensor G2 processor and will run on the Android 13 operating system. The phone is likely to come with a 4,700mAh battery, supporting 30W fast charging support. Moreover, wireless charging of 21W.

On the camera front, the device will house a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP camera and a 12MP Ultra-wide camera. The selfie lovers will get an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. With the rear camera, the company will offer Motion Mode, Real Tone, Face Unblur, Panorama, Manual white balancing, Locked Folder, Portrait Mode, Portrait Light, Super Res Zoom, Motion autofocus, Frequent Faces, and Dual exposure controls.

Some other features include a fingerprint sensor, face unlock, dust resistant, water resistance, stereo speakers and more. The price of the Google Pixel 7 could be set around Rs 50,000.

Google Pixel 7 pro features, specifications and more

The pro version of the Google Pixel 7 phone will feature a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The leaks suggest the phone will be equipped with Always-on Display.

If reports are to be believed, the phone will carry a 50-megapixel camera, 48-megapixel telephoto lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with an autofocus facility. On the front side, the device may offer a 108-megapixel shooter.

Both cameras will support 4k video recording. Other features are almost similar to the above-mentined detail.

Under the hood, the phone may offer a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 30W fast charging, 23W wireless charging and reverse charging. However, the phone will come with the same chipset and operating system.

The pro version is likely to cost over Rs 70,000 in the market.
