Google pixel fold leak: From launch date to features; here’s everything you need to know

Google has reportedly planned to enter the foldable phone market with the launch of Google Pixel Fold.

New Delhi: Google has reportedly planned to enter the foldable phone market with the launch of Google Pixel Fold. The latest leaked photos of Pixel fold also confirmed the rumours in the market. The photos of the expected phone are also doing rounds on the internet. The leaked photo of Pixel fold shows the phone will come with a punch-hole display.

Google Pixel Fold features and specification (expected)

The new Google phone will come with a display of 6.4-inch and the secondary display (when unfolded) will offer an 8.1-inch screen. Both displays are expected to be protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Cover Glass. Pixel fold will be powered by Google Tensor G2 chipset and will run on the Android 13 operating system.

The device will carry 12GB Ram and 128GB storage, which cannot be extended. Under the hood, the device will come with a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 30W fast charging and 23W wireless charging.

The device is equipped with several other features such as an always-on Display, 5G, reverse charging, water resistance, dust resistant, face unlock, and more.

Google Pixel Fold will be provided with a 50-megapixel main sensor alongside a 48-megapixel telephoto lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. For the selfie, the phone will be launched with a 10.8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

It is reported that both cameras offer 4k video recording.

Google Pixel Fold price and launch date (expected)

The sale of new Google phones is likely to start from $1,799 (roughly Rs 1,50,000). The device will come in the market in two colours that include Chalk (white) and Obsidian (black) colours. The foldable phone of Google will go on sale around May 2023.
