New Delhi: Apple has confirmed to launch of the next instalment in the iPhone series on September 7. The launch is scheduled to take place at 10 PM IST on the date. The iPhone 14 series is expected to come with a lot of new features, according to media reports. Ahead of the scheduled launch of Apple’s new series, we are going to tell you the four striking features of the phones.

 Satellite connectivity (expected)

The satellite connectivity will first be introduced in the US market, followed by other markets, including India. The media reports suggest Apple’s new service will be limited to brief text messages, voice calls, and photos.  If the service is launched by Apple in the market, it will be capable of offering connectivity in cellular dread areas in the world.

Always-on display (expected)

In the market, there are many smartphone manufacturers are offering always-on displays for a long time. It is reported that Apple is also planning to bring an always-on mode to iPhone. The always-on display is a feature that allows users to see time and notifications without turning on the phone.

Astrophotography mode (expected)

Seeing the promo launch of iPhone 14, it is expected that Apple will introduce the Astrophotography mode that we have earlier seen in the Google Pixel 4. The features allow users to click good photos of the night sky. This mode captures the photos, combining several frames.

Better cameras (expected)

According to reports, Apple will for the first time launch a phone with much higher camera pixels than that of the earlier series. The rumours suggest the phone will come with a dual rear camera —a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel shooter.

The new 48MP sensor, paired with a 12MP camera, will capture more lights, impacting the overall image quality.
