Jio AirFiber, which aims to provide high-speed internet access throughout India, is launching in eight cities at once: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.

What is Jio AirFiber?

Jio AirFiber is a cutting-edge method through which the corporation offers wireless internet service; it makes use of 5G technology to guarantee very quick download and upload times. Speeds up to 1 Gbps are available to users, which is on par with standard fibre-optic connections.

Instead of fibre optics, it uses the ultra-fast 5G wireless standard. The mobility and simplicity of the new technology are its key advantages.

When compared to Jio Fiber, this service is simpler to use. Users of Jio AirFiber need to plug in and connect the device and power it on.

The telecommunications company plans to target the unoccupied market of more than 200 million houses in India. Over 1.5 million kilometres of optical fibres make up Jio’s network throughout India.

Pricing of Jio AirFiber

JioAirFiber’s base plan costs Rs 599 and includes 30 Mbps download speed, in addition to 550+ Digital Channels and 16+ OTT Apps. It includes the higher-end JioAirFiber Max, which for Rs 3999 provides a 1000 Mbps connection, 550+ Digital Channels, and 16+ OTT Apps.

The applications are compatible with a wide variety of electronic gadgets, including desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, and tablets. You may choose between a 6-month and a 1-year plan.

There will be direct competition between AirFiber and Airtel Xstream, which offers virtually the same service.

How to get Jio AirFiber

Those interested in a Jio AirFiber connection may do one of three things: visit the Jio website, place a missed call to the number 60008-60008 on WhatsApp, or go to a local Jio store.
