Lava Blaze Pro launched in India: Check features, camera, price and more

For the design, Lava is offering a glass back, which is rare in the budget smartphone segment.

New Delhi: India-based mobile manufacturer, Lava launched its latest phone Lava Blaze Pro in India on Tuesday. At the time of launch, a Bollywood actor called brand ambassador Kartik Aryan was called to promote the event. Notably, this phone is an upgraded version of Lava Blaze which was launched back in July 2022. This time, the company has tried to bring a phone into the market that can compete with other phones from Chinese manufacturers.

The new LAVA phone comes with a 50-megapixel triple rear AI camera setup with an LED flash. The other two cameras include a macro and a portrait rear camera sensor. Moreover, the rear camera setup features Beauty mode, HDR mode, Night mode, Panorama mode, and more.  At the front, the smartphone gets an 8-megapixel selfie camera with a screen flash.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC that offers a speed of up to 2.3 GHz. It runs on the Android 12 operating system. The phone sports a 6.5-inch IPS display with an HD+ resolution of 720*1,600 pixels that delivers a 90Hz refresh rate. To power the 5,000mAh battery, the company has provided a USB Type-C port.

Among other features of the smartphone, the company offers 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. In the market, it is said to be that the company will sell two storage variants of the phone that include 3GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage.
