New Delhi: Nearly 800 full-time employees of a tech company reportedly resigned in over last two months after the firm put an end to their work-from-home set up.

According to a report by Inc42, over 800 workers at WhiteHat Jr, a coding learning platform, have resigned in masses after being asked to resume working from office. WhiteHat Jr had informed its employees on March 18 via emails, that the company is putting an end to the remote work privileges of its staff, asking them to return to their respective offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Gurugram within a month. Though, instead of returning back to the offices as tper the company orders, what followed was a mass resignation by nearly 800 full-time employees.

“As part of our back-to-work drive, most of our Sales and Support employees have been asked to report to Gurgaon and Mumbai offices from April 18. We have made exceptions for medical and personal exigencies and have offered relocation assistance as required. Our teachers will continue to work from home,” a WhiteHat Jr spokesperson told Business Today.
