New Delhi: Microsoft India President Anant Maheshwari stepped down from his chair to pursue a new path. The news has been confirmed from the company itself. Maheshwari has decided to pure the role outside the company. Speaking to a media house, a Microsoft spokesperson said, we would like to inform that Anant has decided to leave Microsoft and his career outside the company. He further added they would like to thanks Anant for his contribution in the company and business in India and wish him all the luck for the future
Anant joined the company in 2016 as the President and had earlier worked in Honeywell before joining Microsoft. Other than these companies Anant has worked at McKinsey and company as Engagement Manager and served as independent board member. He also worked as Director at Aditya Birla Group.

Maheshwari’s role at Microsoft India
At Microsoft India Maheshwari was assigned for the work related to the company’s product, service, and support offering across India and to continue the transformation of company into a leading productivity and platform company. He was also a renowned figure for the Company to push it for the Artificial Intelligence driven era amid the tectonic shift in AI.
In his seven years of career as a President of Microsoft India, he had a significant role in the growth of the company in areas of skilling and innovation of the company and leading the company towards this rea of AI in India. Maheshwari was also appointed as the chairperson of NASSCOM for year 2023-24.
In an occasion Maheshwari said, India is building its capabilities in tech services and is broadening its wing in field of tech innovation. It is a leading example of digital public platforms with billion peoples scale implementation.
