New Delhi: Motorola launched the world’s first commercial smartphone with a 200MP camera in India on Tuesday. The launch of the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra came almost four months when Motorola confirmed the launch of the smartphone in May. Sharing the pictures of the phone, Motorola wrote on Twitter that the sale of the phone will start on September 22.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra features and specifications
The latest Motorola phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor that offers a 3.2 GHz speed and it runs on the Android 12 operating system. Motorola provides a display of 6.67-inch with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Under the hood, Motorola has provided a 4,610mAh battery with fast charging support of 125W. Additionally, the phone comes with wireless charging support of 50W. In the market, the phone is available in Black and Starlight White colour options.
Besides, one gets GPRS, Face Unlock, an in-display fingerprint sensor, water resistance and 5G connectivity. On the camera front, the company also offers a 200-megapixel main camera with an f1.9 aperture. Another 50-megapixel Samsung sensor with wide angle photo capturing quality. The third one is a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/1.6 aperture by Sony.
For selfie lovers, the phone is equipped with a 60-megapixel shooter paired with an f2.2 aperture lens. The rear camera records video in 8K while the front camera captures video in 4K. Notably, Motorola has launched the phone with lone 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage. However, the storage cannot be extended as the phone does not have an external memory card slot facility.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra price
With all the above-mentioned features, Motorola has set the price of the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra at Rs 59,999. The first sale of the device will commence on September 22.
