Nothing Phone 1 users to get Android 13 update by mid-2023; says company
The company's founder Carl Pei also gave his reaction after he was asked about the Android 13 update on Twitter.
New Delhi: The Nothing Phone 1 users will soon get the update in the phone’s operating system. The latest development came from a new report by Android Authority. The report quoted Nothing saying the Android 13 update will come to the company’s first in the market by mid-2023. Notably, Nothing has already promised that the users will get the system updates from the company for the next 3 years.
The company’s founder Carl Pei also gave his reaction after he was asked about the Android 13 update on Twitter. The question was asked by a journalist on Twitter on August 17.
However, Carl Pei did not say anything directly about the update. He wrote, ”A product is more than just its specs, features, and version numbers.”

Nothing phone 1 launched in July
Carl Pei’s company Nothing revealed its first on July 12, globally. The product was launched in the evening as per the Indian standard time. The company said that it has decided to come into the market with the objective of removing barriers between people and technology.
Nothing Phone 1 specifications and features
Nothing Phone 1 can be said the first phone on the market with a transparent back panel. Nothing made it transparent at the rear to provide an LED notification system. The phone is launched with a 6.55-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The front and back panel is protected with Gorilla glass. The phone houses a 50-megapixel wide-angle rear camera and a 50-megapixel Ultra Wide lens with an autofocus facility.
The back camera also offers 4k video recording. For the selfie lover, the company offers a 16-megapixel f/2.45 wide angle lens. Moreover, one also gets a screen flash for taking selfies at night.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor and runs on the Android 12 operating system. Under the hood, the phone comes with a 4,500mAh battery. Notably, the phone comes with an In-display fingerprint sensor.
