New Delhi: OnePlus has come up with its latest budget smartphone Nord CE4 Lite 5G as a successor to the CE3 Lite 5G. The phone comes just days after its most-talked and hyped phone OnePlus Nord 4. Traditionally, the Lite series of OnePlus has been highly popular amongst Indian consumers due to the lower price and top-notch specifications.

Likewise, the OnePlus CE4 Lite is also expected to rock the market in the coming days. Let us look at the specifications of this exciting device.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G: Price

OnePlus India has priced their brand new budget smartphone at Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. While the higher-end version of the smartphone is priced at Rs 22,999 which is the 8GB+256GB variant. Interestingly, there is no 12 GB variant which is a continuation from their previous phone Nord CE 3 Lite 5G.

Nord CE 4 Lite 5G has been launched in three colours- Mega Blue, Super Silver and Ultra Orange. Mega Blue and Super Silver will be available on Amazon from the 27th of June. However, the Ultra Orange colour will be available at a later date which has not been announced so far.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G has seen some massive updates while some things have remained as it is from the previous version. The CE 4 Lite has seen an update in the screen to an AMOLED display from the IPS LCD. CE4 has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 with 8GB RAM (LPDDR4X) and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2.

CE4 is based on OxygenOS 14 which is based on Android 14. The phone comes with a 2-camera set up of a 50 MP primary camera with a Sony LYT-600 sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. Furthermore, the phone also has a 16 MP selfie camera with Electronic Image Stabilisation.

In the battery segment, CE4 Lite has a slight update from the CE3 Lite with a battery of 5500 mAh battery and an 80W SuperVOOC TypeA to TypeC wire. The phone also supports a 5W reverse charging option as well as Wi-Fi 5, GPS and Bluetooth 5.1. CE4 has also carried forward the 3.5 mm audio jack.

The Nord Lite series of OnePlus is one of the highest-selling phones in the 15-20k segment. One of the main reasons is the brand value which has attracted customers towards buying OnePlus. But, is the Nord CE4 Lite 5G truly a standout phone in 2024? The phone has many value-for-money specifications which will help the buyers in the long run.


However, one downside of the phone is the same processor that OnePlus has carried in its Lite series i.e. the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695. Moreover, there are some ‘peculiar’ specifications which come with the phone which can be described as mind-boggling at best. For example, there is a 3.5 mm audio jack but there is no support for radio. Similarly, there is Widevine L1 support but no HDR support. Overall, it is a good budget smartphone which will be facing stiff competition from other brands in the same price bracket.
