OnePlus Open 2: India Launch date, expected pricing, specification and More

OnePlus Open 2 is expected to release in the first quarter 2025, contrary to the earlier release date which was at the end of the year 2024.

New Delhi: OnePlus is all set to up its game in the “Flip and fold” market with the launch of its Open 2. The phone is set to be a rebranded version of the Oppo Find N5. OnePlus Open which was the inaugural smartphone of the company in the fold segment was a rebranded version of the Oppo Find N3. Likewise, a similar thing is expected this time around.

According to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the company is expected to put the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 under the hood with a massive battery backup of 6000mAh. Furthermore, according to the tipster, OnePlus is expected to pack its latest Glacier Battery technology for the upcoming smartphone.


If the reports of Digital Chat Station turn out to be true, the company can roll up its sleeves and boast of the biggest battery in this segment. With stiff competition from Samsung and Motorola, things might tilt in favour of OnePlus if the battery rumour turns out to be true.

What is the expected pricing of the OnePlus Open 2?

So far the company has not disclosed the final pricing of the device. However, given the pricing of the OnePlus Open, one can expect the price to be anything above 1.5 lakhs.

When will the OnePlus Open 2 come in the Indian market?

Contrary to the tech reports which surfaced, OnePlus is set to launch the Open 2 smartphone in the Indian markets in the first quarter of 2025. Customers had expected the brand-new mobile phone to be in their palms by the end of the year. However, it looks like the company is set to make its consumers wait a little more.
