New Delhi: Oppo, one of the leading companies for smartphones in India, is set to release A78 5G on January 16, which marks its first launch in 2023. The firm has already launched the model in Malaysia and tweeted about launching Oppo A78 5G in India. It is a 5G smartphone with all the features and is set to be pocket-friendly.

2023 is set to be a year of budget-friendly 5G smartphones and Oppo launching A78 will be a big contributor to the same. With great specs at an affordable range, it will be a smartphone to look out for.
Features:
The Oppo A78 has a 5000 mAh battery with a 33W SUPERVOOC charger. The phone launched in Malaysia has a 50 megapixels dual rear camera and an 8 megapixels front camera. The Indian model of the smartphone is also expected to offer the same cameras.

The phone comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display and a 90Hz refresh rate. The one launched in Malaysia comes with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with Mali-G7 MC2 GPU.
Pricing:
The company has not revealed the official price of the smartphone, but it is expected to come under budget like other smartphones launched by Oppo. According to reports, Oppo A78 5G may have a price of about Rs 19,000.
On the other hand, Oppo recently launched a ‘House of Dragon’ special edition of Reno 8 Pro 5G in collaboration with Warner Bros. This special edition is named as Dragon Limited Edition Set. The limited edition smartphone is priced at Rs 45,999.
