New Delhi: Smartphone manufacturer Poco launched its new series, Poco M5 in India on September 5. The live event of the launch of the phone kicks off at 5 PM today. In the new Poco series, the company brought two variants — Poco M5 and Poco M5s. Both variants are priced below 15,000. The first sale of the phone will begin in India on September 13 on the occasion of Bill Billion Day.

Poco M5 confirmed features and specification
Poco has confirmed that the Poco M5 will come with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 6nm of MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor and Mali-G57 GPU.
As per the latest detail, the phone offers LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The phone is packed with a 5,000mAh battery that can be refilled in less than 2 hours with the help of 18W fast charging support.

During the launch, it has been told that the phone comes with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is available in the market in three colour options — yellow, black and green.
The company also offers a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR Blaster. and Bluetooth 5.0.
On the camera front, the phone may come with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The camera is capable of offering great detail in macro and night mode.
Poco M5 price detail
Poco M5 will be available for sale through Flipkart. The first sale of Poco M5 will start on September 13 at 1 PM during the Big Billion Day.
At that time, one will be able to buy the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant at a price of Rs 10,999. For the flagship version 6GB RAM + 128 GB option one can buy it at Rs 12,999.

Poco M5s confirmed features and specification
Ahead of the scheduled launch event, Poco has confirmed on Twitter that the Poco M5s will be launched with a 64-megapixel quad camera setup, including an Ultra-wide angle lens, and a macro camera. For the selfie lovers, one gets a 13-megapixel shooter.
The camera is capable of recording 4K videos.

At the time of purchase, one will be offered three colours that include grey, white and blue.
