New Delhi: Hashtag Twitterdown started trending on Twitter soon after users on Wednesday night raised various issues on the microblogging site. The users in the tweet said that they were unable to tweet, send direct messages, or follow new accounts on Twitter.
The Twitter users informed that while they tried to tweet, they received a pop-up saying, “you are over the daily limit for sending tweets.”
While some users received a pop-up that read, “We’re sorry, we weren’t able to send your Tweet.
Also, those users who tried following other Twitter accounts on the microblogging site received a message saying, “Limit reached.
Some Twitter users revealed that they were able to share their Tweets only by using Twitter’s tweet scheduling function.
On Thursday, the outage tracker DownDetector revealed that more than 9,000 Twitter issued reports as of 5 am.
