New Delhi: Some of the Roblox players have been complaining that the online gaming platform has been experiencing server down. The users were unable to load some parts of Roblox. The problems started shortly before midnight on Thursday. The issue soon became a trend as more and more players started complaining about it.

A Twitter page named Roblox Status, which is not an official page of the gaming platform soon tweeted about the mishap. It stated, “Looks like Roblox is currently experiencing issues! We’ll update you if we receive any further information.”

Reportedly, the player count reached a low point of 300,000. Just before the problem was initiated, over three million people were live on the gaming platform.

The team behind Roblox indicates that the cause of the problem is described as an “Internal System Issue.” The platform is currently undergoing a maintenance program to restart as soon as possible.

There is no manual fix from the users’ end to make the platform get back into work again. Its dismissal for over 12 hours will definitely create a negative impact on developers, players, and most importantly on the RBLX brand on the stock market.

However, the players can be assured that their accounts and personal information would not get threatened by this long maintenance. There is no absolute answer that as to when the Roblox will start working properly.

Users took to social media to report about the problems on Friday morning.

Roblox is an online gaming platform that enables users to develop their own mini-games which others can play. Mostly, it is popular with children where 56% of its monthly users are under the age of 13. The company was founded in 2004 by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel while the game was released in 2006.
