New Delhi: Jaguar launched their first electric vehicle in the shape of a SUV Jaguar I-Pace. It is India’s second luxury electric vehicle facing competition only from Mercedes-Benz EQC which is also a SUV. I-Pace will be available in three variants: S, SE and HSE. Bookings for the I-Pace are already underway as the bookings opened in November last year. The I-Pace arrives in the country via the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route.
Jaguar I-Pace will also provide the option of personal customization to the customers as they can choose from a wide range of customization options. Customers can customize their vehicle either directly from the factory or from the dealer.
Dimensions
I-Pace is 4,682mm long, 2,139mm wide, and 1,565mm in height. It comes with a wheelbase of 2,990mm.
Motor and Power
The Jaguar SUV packs a 90kWh which gives the power and torque of 400hp and 696Nm respectively. It can go 0-100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds with the top speed at 200kmph.

Jaguar promises a range of 480kms in one full charge whereas the gurantee is upto 8 years or 1.6 lakh kilometers. Jaguar is also offering a complimentary 5-year service package along with 5 years of roadside assistance for the I-Pace.
Whereas the charging time depends on the charger being used:
100kW fast charger – This charger can charge 0-8o percent in just 45 mins.
7kW AC wall box charger – It will take 14 hours with this charger to fully charge the 90kW battery.
50kW DC charger – This will take 2 hours to completely charge the battery
