New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki has planned to launch the all-new Alto hatchback, Alto K10 in India. The car is reported to be launched on August 18. The leaked dimensions suggest the new-gen Alto will be more or less the same but carry the K10 nameplate. However, the company will sell the new variant alongside the current 800.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 dimesions
Before we check the dimensions of the New Alto K10, let us tell you the dimensions of the Old Alto 800. The Old Alto’s length, Width, and Height will be 3445m, 1490mm, and 1520mm, respectively. The new Alto K10’s length will be 3530mm, 1490mm in width, and 3530mm in height.
The wheelbase of the new Alto will be 20mm more than the Old Alto’s 2360mm wheelbase.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 engine details
The new hatchback is expected to carry a 1.0-litre, K10C DualJet unit, producing 67hp and 89Nm torque. The company will provide a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.
It said to be that the company will also offer a CNG variant like other Maruti Suzuki vehicles. The 48hp, 0.8-litre engine will continuously be sold with the ongoing, current-gen Alto 800.
Maruti Suzuki features and colour option
According to media reports, the car will be available with a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors and ABS with EBD.
The car is likely to be available in the market in six colour options.
