Maruti Suzuki to launch the new Alto K-10 with revised energy, features and mobility

The variant that also supports Apple Car Play and Android Auto is expected to have its infotainment system to support USB

New Delhi: India’s largest auto company Maruti Suzuki is set to launch its newest version of the popular hatchback model Alto K-10 today, i.e. on Thursday from 12:00 pm onwards. The launch event will proceed in the presence of company’s MD & CEO Hisashi Takechi and Senior Executive Director Shashank Srivastava.

The Indian consumers are eagerly waiting for the Alto car, which has very much ruled over the middle-class section in the country for decades.

The carmaker has made several significant changes in the new Alto, from interior to exterior specifications and design. The pre-booking for the much-speculated car has already begun.

About the all-new K-10 

This new version of Maruti Suzuki’s Alto car is going to be based on the company’s updated platform Heartect. It is further being booked at the Maruti Suzuki Arena outlet or online for Rs 11000.

Apart from the latest variant, the company will reportedly retain the old version Alto 800 in the markets as well. The brand has also released several teasers before the mega launch event, which provide information about its features and specifications.

Expected Features 

The recently surfaced teasers gives a glimpse of the 7-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system.This infotainment system has already been offered in company’s S-Presso, Celerio and Wagon-R models.

The variant that also supports Apple Car Play and Android Auto is expected to have its infotainment system to support USB, Bluetooth and auxiliary cables. The steering wheel in the car will also come in new design along with in-built mounted control.

The newest Alto addition that comes with a mileage of more than 20 kmpl is expected to initiate with an ex-showroom price of around Rs 4 lakh.
