This crazy Tesla Cybertruck RV add-on receives $50 million in pre-orders; Check out
New Delhi: Stream It, a Las Vegas-based analytics company is selling a high-tech RV add-on for Tesla’s Cybertruck called ‘CyberLandr’. The company said that the demand is so high that they have already pulled in pre-orders which could produce more than $50 million in revenue in the future.
The company designed the CyberLandr as a mutli-use version of Tesla’s Cybertruck. It can be used as a portable home for weekend trips or even in emergencies. The company also said that the CyberLandr fits in normal parking spaces and comes with a bed, kitchen and a shower.
Other features include a water-filtration system, voice automation system along with a Starlink dish for internet access. Pre-orders were launched earlier in April, while the first 20 cost $40,000, the other raised up gradually to its regular retail price of $50,000. Stream It said they have received 1,000 pre-orders in the first 15 days.
While the CEO of the company, Lance King forecasted a higher demand for the electric camper vehicle in 2022, he said, “We conservatively estimate demand for CyberLandr at more than 10,000 units in 2022.”
King also added that the company is working with the lean-manufacturing consultants Munro and Associates, who will help the company to cater to a high demand, while not compromising the quality of the product. Stream It previously said they would manufacture the CyberLandrs in Texas, where Tesla is planning to make their Cybertrucks. Talking about the delivery. they said that they will be ready to deliver as soon as Tesla begins shipping CyberTruck pre-orders, which is set to be in the later half of 2021.
