New Delhi: If you are planning to visit bank branches this month then here is an important update for you. Banks will remain shut for 15 days in various cities. If you have any urgent or important pending bank work then maybe you have to postpone, so plan accordingly.
According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) notification, public and private banking operations will remain closed for a total of 15 days in the upcoming month, including second Saturdays and Sundays.
Although, banks will not be shut for all eight days for all states as there are state-specific holidays for different occasions.
