Bank Holidays: Banks to remain shut for 6 days out of last 10 days in December 2021; check full list here

This month, there will be only one national holiday, i.e. Christmas Day on December 25, when banks will be closed equably.  

New Delhi: There has been minimal amount of bank holidays in the country in December after two consecutive months of continued festivities.

It is just 10 more days for the year 2021 to end, and you must know the important dates on which banks across public and private sectors are to remain shut in the last month of the year.

Banks across the country will remain closed for a total of 6 days out of ten remaining days of the year.

This month, there will be only one national holiday, i.e. Christmas Day on December 25, when banks will be closed equably.

Hence, before visiting your bank branch this month, check out the following list of bank holidays for the last 10 days of December.

2. December 25 (Christmas): Thiruvananthapuram, Srinagar, Shimla, Shillong, Ranchi, Raipur, Patna, Panaji, New Delhi, Nagpur, Mumbai, Lucknow,  Guwahati, Kolkata, Kochi, Kanpur, Jammu, Jaipur, Imphal, Hyderabad.

3. December 26: Sunday

4. December 27 (Christmas Celebration): Aizawl

5. December 30 (U Kiang Nangbah): Shillong

6. December 31 (New Year’s Eve): Aizawl
