New Delhi: Financial services platform Capital India Finance Limited (CIFL) on Wednesday announced the appointment of an industry veteran and former chief of NABARD, Dr Harsh Kumar Bhanwala, as its Executive Chairman. The appointment will come in effect from August 6, 2020.
Welcoming Dr Harsh Kumar Bhanwala on board, Capital India Finance promoter Mr SK Narvar said “his long experience will add greater value to the Capital India Group”.

What Dr. Bhanwala said on joining Capital India Finance
Prior to joining Capital India, Bhanwala has worked as chairman of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) for over 6 years.

Dr. Bhanwala holds a Post-Graduate degree in Management from IIM, Ahmedabad and is also a PhD holder. He has also been the Managing Director of Delhi State Cooperative Bank Ltd (DSCB), during its turnaround (1999 to 2005).
