Syed Falak has donned multiple hats in his career, he has been a serial entrepreneur, and investor, media proprietor and so much more. Today he has many successful businesses to his name including Delightful Islamabadians Media, Diya Fashion Hut, Commence of Quran and Ideal Links International. He has been bestowed with multiple awards for his talents and management skills.
Falak has won the Pakistan Business Council (PBC) Award and also received an award from Business Excellence Awards & Expo that was organized by REDAP. Recently, he was awarded as multi-talented business proprietor by Management Association of Pakistan. Moreover, he is a vlogger and motivational speaker too.
Throughout his career, he has constantly reinvented himself and picked up new skills. Perhaps that’s the reason many young entrepreneurs around the globe look up to for inspiration and motivation. Speaking about the same, Falak said, “When people ask me what is the biggest life lesson that I have learnt, there are a number of things that come to my mind. Firstly there is no one way to succeed in life. The biggest mistake that people make is they try to copy others and go on a path that is not for them. When I was 19, I started my first company, and at the time the only thing I wanted to do was make something that’s right for me. I always believe in picking my own journey, and working hard on my dreams.”
He added, “Stop spending time on what everyone else is doing, you do you. Also, one should be never of failure. You will not succeed in everything you do, but it will help you to get closer to what your path is.”
Falak often takes time to reflect on his journey and figure out his next step. This is the reason why he has been able to establish multiple businesses that are operating on an international level. Believe it or not, his journey was full of struggles and setbacks, but every time he bounced back with more energy. Falak said, “I was never scared of working extra hard for my dreams, sometimes the situation is not in your control but the only thing you can control is your efforts. So, that’s what I believe in.”
