EPF subscribers can check their balance from their homes in these four different ways. Here are the different ways:

New Delhi: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has saved a big bonanza in store for around 6 crore EPF subscribers. It is reported that the Organisation is likely to credit 8.5% Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) by the end of July for the financial year 2020-21.

Earlier this year, EPFO kept the interest rate unchanged at 8.5% for the current financial year.

EPF subscribers can check their balance from their homes in these four different ways. Here are the different ways:

1. SMS

2. Online

3. Missed call

4. UMANG App

How to check EPF account balance by SMS

The members registered on the UAN portal can get their PF details by sending an SMS from their registered mobile numbers. For this, you have to send an SMS ‘EPFOHO UAN’ to 7738299899.

How to check EPF account balance ONLINE

STEP 1: Log on to epfindia.gov.in
STEP 2: Fill in your UAN number, password and captcha code
STEP 3: Click on e-Passbook
STEP 4: Once you fill all the details, you will land up on a new page
STEP 5: Now open member id
STEP 6: Now you can see the total EPF balance in your account

How to check EPF balance through MISSED Call

EPFO subscribers who are registered on the UAN portal can get their PF details available with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation just by giving a missed call at 011-22901406 from their mobile number registered with UAN.

How to check EPF balance through UMANG App

STEP 1: Open the UMANG App
STEP 2: Click on EPFO.
STEP 3: Click on Employee Centric Services
STEP 4: Click on the View Passbook option
STEP 5: Feed in your UAN number and password
STEP 6: You will get OTP on your registered mobile number
STEP 7: Now you can now check your EPF balance
