It all started with a joke or you can say a meme and now the joke appears to be on the people who didn’t take Dogecoin seriously.
Elon Musk’s favorite meme cryptocurrency ‘Dogecoin’ came into global prominence when celebrities like Musk, rapper Snoop Dogg and rock band Kiss’ bassist Gene Simmons took to Twitter to talk about it.
The digital token, symbolized by the Shiba Inu dog breed, shot up to 20% after a tweet by Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.
