New Delhi: In what augurs well for India’s fight against Covid-19, the number of new Corona+ cases have witnessed a slump in last 24 hours. In fact, the number suggests weakest growth of Corona cases, since the time India crossed 100 cases.
From Friday 8 am to Saturday 8 pm, only 6% growth was recorded indicating that the lockdown and nation’s collective effort is yielding results.
However, it may be too early to derive any conclusive report but the 6% growth in new Covid-19 cases is enough to inspire Corona warriors and those working on the frontline.
Some good news coming out, since Yesterday (From 8AM Friday to 8AM Saturday), India recorded a 6% growth in new cases. This is the lowest daily growth rate recorded since India crossed 100 cases. (Story in Development) #Covid_19 #pandemic

Not long ago, official records showed decline in doubling of Corona cases. In March, when Corona cases were doubling in about 3-4 days, it recently reduced to approx 7 days, again a positive sign.
However, the government hasn’t let its guards down. Monitoring of hotspots and containment areas is being done closely while steps being taken to bring normalcy to areas where new cases have not showed up.
A new Inter-Ministerial Central Team has been set up to visit and implement the measures, from where maximum lockdown violations have been reported.
Yesterday, the government exempted small shops in residential areas from the Lockdown guidelines, thus allowing their operation with 50% staff and social distancing guidelines.
