New Delhi: The national capital continues to be under the grip of Coronavirus with the city recording single-day biggest jump of 1,163 cases in a day. This takes the Covid-19 tally to over 18,000 on Saturday while the death toll due to disease stand at 416.
According to latest data, the number of containment zones in Delhi stand at 122..
The districts with higher containment zones included North (24), South-East (17), South (12), South West (12) and North West (13), West (16) official figures showed.
An area reporting three or more positive cases of infection is turned into a containment zone. The containment zones are thoroughly barricaded and sealed to prevent any unauthorised exit or entry.
