
New Delhi: #Janatacurfew was trending on Twitter on Monday as people celebrated the one year anniversary of janata curfew which was announced on 22nd Feb 2020. It was a 14 hour-long curfew which was basically a trial before announcing a 21-day lockdown. The lockdown slowly got extended till 31st May 2020.
PM Modi also asked the people to thank the doctors and security personnel on 22nd March 2020, by clapping or ringing their bells on their doorsteps at 5PM and the whole nation followed it.
