New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday targeted opposition parties after 2.5 crore vaccinations was done on the occasion of his birthday on Friday.
PM Modi said, “after 2.5 cr vaccinations y’day, a political party reacted after 12 am that they’re experiencing fever.”
He said this while interacting with a doctor, during his address to healthcare workers & vaccine beneficiaries of Goa on the occasion of the completion of 100 per cent first dose coverage for the adult population.

PM Modi said that under the leadership of CM Pramod Sawant, Goa is playing important role in the success of the world’s largest and fastest vaccination drive – Sabko vaccine, muft vaccine.
He also appreciated all the doctors, medical staff, people in admn in the country. He said that with their efforts, India made a record of vaccinating 2.5 crore people in a single day.

He further said that, even countries that are considered prosperous & powerful could not do it.
PM also said that the state also overcame challenges like Cyclone Tauktae to ensure rapid vaccination coverage.
