India Fights Coronavirus: Total cured cases stand at 72,59,509 with 58,439 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, a total of 10,44,20,894 samples have been tested for COVID-19 up to 26th October. Of these 9,58,116 samples were tested yesterday, said the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

The number of total active COVID-19 cases stood at 6,53,717 after a decrease of 14,437 in the last 24 hours. Total cured cases stand at 71,37,229 with 59,105 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

The total number of active cases stands at 6,68,154 after a decrease of 12,526 in last 24 hours while total cured cases are 70,78,123 with 62,077 new discharges in last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry.

India Fights Coronavirus: Meanwhile, a total of 10,25,23,469 samples have been tested for COVID-19 up to 24th October. Of these, 11,40,905 samples were tested yesterday, as per the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

With an increase of 54,366 new cases and 690 deaths, India's COVID-19 count reached 77,61,312 on Friday, as per the Union Health Ministry.

The main symptoms of coronavirus infection are fever, cough and breathlessness, the ICMR official explained.
