New Delhi: As good news for aspirants for government school teachers, Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has invited applications for the post of Head Teachers on its official website. Under this drive, a total of 40,506 vacancies will be filled. The post of Head Teachers is vacant in primary schools that come under the Education Department of the Government of Bihar.
BPSC Recruitment 2022: Number of vacancies category wise
Those who wish to apply for the post can visit the official website of BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in. There is a total of 40,506 vacancies. However, BPSC has divided the seats as per the quota available for categories. There are 16,204 seats for general candidates, followed by Extremely Backward Class (7,290), SC (6,477), Backward Class (4,861), EWS (4046), women in Backward Class (1,210), ST (410).
BPSC Head Teacher Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Before you rush for filling online application, you must check the eligibility criteria for BPSC Head Teacher’s post. Any candidates who wish to apply for the post must have a graduate degree from any recruitment school/university with at least 50% marks. In addition to this, they should have a D.EI.Ed, BT, B.Ed, B.Ed, B.Sc. or B.L.Ed. degree.
Besides the above-mentioned qualification, he or she holds minimum 8 years of work experience as a basic grade teacher of Panchayat Elementary, Urban Elementary under Panchayat Raj Institutions and Urban Local Body Institutions, or as a Graduate teacher of Panchayati Raj Institutions or Unban bodies institutions whose services are confirmed.
BPSC Head Teacher Recruitment 2022: Age limit and fee
Any candidates who want to join BPSC as a Head Teacher, should not be more than 60 years old as of January 1, 2022.
The application fee for the General candidate is Rs 750. Candidates, including women, who come under SC/ST/PWD category have to pay Rs 200.
It is important to note that the BPSC will recruit the Head Teachers based on their performance in the written exam. There is no plan for interviews.
