CBSE Term 1 results 2022: Class 10, 12 results delayed, here’s when to expect scorecards

CBSE is expected to announced the date sheet for second and final term examination on with the release of term 1 examination results

New Delhi: It was expected that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the results of the term 1 examination of classes 10 and 12 on Saturday, January 15. However, the sources from the education board informed that the result declaration has been delayed.

As per a report by the Times of India, the delay has come owing to the recent Covid-19 curbs due to which the offices have been closed amidst the spike in coronavirus cases, resulting in slowing down of the evaluation process.

Though, it is likely that the education board will now release the scorecards of the students next week, though CBSE has not made any official announcement yet.

CBSE Class 10 and 12 term 1 examinations were commenced in November last year and concluded in December 2021.

The exam was held in multiple-choice questions (MCQs) format, in which each paper contained a total of 40 marks.

Once released, the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Term 1 results would be available on the official websites of CBSE- cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in.

Meanwhile, over 30 lakh students, who are waiting for their term 1 results to be announced soon, are also looking for the education board to declare dates of the upcoming term 2 examinations.

CBSE is expected to announced the date sheet for the second and final term examination with the release of term 1 scorecards.
