Patna daily wager son gets scholarship of 2.5 crore to study in America 

New Delhi: Defeating all odds in life, a 17-year-old son of Patna’s daily wager, won a scholarship of 2.5 crore to study at America’s top Lawfayette College. The college will also bear the expenses of other expenses of the boy, Prem Kumar. The family of the boy lives in the capital’s Gonpura area of Phulwari Sharif. It is reported that the college, established in 1826, is ranked among the top 25 colleges in America.

Prem is a #DexterityToCollege fellow from Gonpura village in Bihar. His father is a daily wage earner. Prem has been selected to study at the prestigious Lafayette College in US on a ₹2.5 crore scholarship.
