In a shocking incident, Bollywood actor Sunny Leone’s picture was printed on admit card of a candidate, who appeared for the Karnataka Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET-2022). The TET-2022 was conducted on November 6.
After the screenshot of the admit card has gone viral on social media the education department ordered an inquiry into the incident.
The incident came to the limelight after a candidate produced her admit card which had a picture of Sunny Leone, following which the principal of Rudrappa College lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime police.
According to police, it is said that the goof-up might have occurred while uploading the photograph of the candidate and submitting the application online.
According to the candidate, it is said that she did not fill the application online herself but she had asked others to do it on her behalf.
In a statement, the education department asked the candidates to fill out the application online. For the same, a user ID and password were generated, and candidates were asked to not share it with anyone.
The Education department further said it has no role in generating the admit card because the filling of the online application form was done by the candidates only.
In the clarification, the Public Instruction Department said they have requested police to investigate the matter and initiate action against those responsible for the incident.
