UPSC Result 2021: Girls secure top four positions, Shruti Sharma bags rank 1 in civil services

Shruti Sharma from Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) in Jamia Millia Islamia has topped the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam

New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the CSE final result 2021-22 today, i.e. on May 30, on its official website – upsc.gov.in.

Shruti Sharma from Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) in Jamia Millia Islamia has topped the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam. Interestingly, the top four rank holders in the UPSC CSE exam are women.

Following Shruti, Ankita Agarwal has secured the all Indian rank second in the civil services finals. The complete list has been shared on the official website – here

UPSC declared the result on the basis of physical interviews held in January this year and Personality Tests held in April-May, 2022.

Further, Gamini Singla has secured AIR 3, while rank 4 has been occupied by Aishwarya Verma.

A total of 685 candidates have been recommended for appointment as IAS, IPS, IFS and various other branches of the civil services under the Central Government. The commission also informed that the result of one candidate has been withheld.

The commission also informed that the candidates will be able to obtain any information or clarification regarding their examinations and recruitment between 10 am to 5 pm on working days in person or on telephone numbers – 23385271, 23381125, and 23098543.

Also, the marks of all the candidates will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of result.
