New Delhi: MD Rumman Ashraf topped the Bihar Board Class 10th Matric examination with 489 march out of the 500 marks.
The overall pass percentage of Bihar board class 10th Matric result stood at 81.04 percent.
Two students -Namrata Umari and Gyani Anupama scored the second spot with 486 marks each.
Three students-Sanju Kuamari, Bhavna Kumari, and Jaynandan Kumar Pandit were placed in the top 3 with 484 marks each.
Six students-Neha Praveen, Shubham Kumar, Amrita Kumari, Sneha Kumari, Vivek Kumar and Sweta Kumari at the fourth position.
The Bihar Board Class 10th results were announced today in a press conference by Bihar Education Minister.
Who is MD Rumman Ashraf?
MD Rumman Ashraf scored 489 marks – 97.8 percent and has been declared the topper of the Bihar Matric exam 2023.
He is a student of Islamia High School Sheikhpura.
He will be awarded Rs 1 lakh by the Bihar Board.
Also, he will be given a laptop and 1 kindle e-book reader.
While the second rank holder will be given Rs 75,000, 1 laptop, and one Kindle ebook reader by the Bihar Board.
The Third Rank holder will get Rs 50,000, one laptop, and a kindle ebook.
Meanwhile, other rank holders from 4th to 10th will get Rs 10,000, one laptop, and one kindle.

This year there are a total of 90 students in the top 10, out of which 36 are girls.
This year the Bihar Board conducted BSEB Class 10th Matric exam from February 14 and February 22.
More than 16 lakh students appeared for the Bihar Board 10th examination this year. BSEB Class 10 examination was held at 1500 examination centers.
