12th Fail actor Vikas Divyakriti slams ‘Animal’ says a film like this should not me made

He further added that “A film like this should not be made. You earned money.

New Delhi: Sandeep Wanga Reddy’s ‘Animal’ which broke all the records at the box office didn’t go down well with many people. The film received mixed reactions from people for its violence and aggression and especially the character played by Ranbir Kapoor. The film became the highest grossing films of 2023. Talking about another film ’12th Fail’ which was based on the story of an IPS officer who failed in class 12th but later cracked the UPSC.  One of the actors of the film Vikas Divyakriti slammed the film animal during an interview and said that films like this shouldn’t me made.

He further added that “A film like this should not be made. You earned money. You showed that your hero behaves like an animal,” The makers should have put some social value in the film he said. He was amazed about the fact that people in cinema are only working for financial gains.

Vikas spoke about the scene where Ranbir Kapoor asks Tripti Dimri to lick his shoes to prover her love for him. To this, he said “After watching the film, what if some boys who are of a feudal mindset and are not that mature want to test their girlfriend’s love by asking them to lick their shoe, what then?,”

About 12th Fail 

12th fail performed incredibly well at the box office. People appreciated Vikrant Massey’s acting a lot. The story of the film was based on the real life of an IPS officer Manoj Kumar, how he cleared the UPSC exam after facing a lot of struggles and challenges and how he decides to change the face of the corrupt Police officers.
