New Delhi: The Social Media Platforms are flooded with memes, viral videos and messages as people react and vent out their emotions in social media expressing their feelings. Some people expressed anguish and anxiety as to why the first day of the year has to be Monday, while there are others who feel like its a normal day.

As many were seen expressing disappointment over the fact that the first day of the year is Monday and it will be working, there were others who were absolutely comfortable with the fact that the first of the year is Monday. Most of the people party till late night and usually don’t feel like getting up to head for work. Many people prefer the first day of the year to be a holiday like a Saturday or a Sunday.
