5 actors who returned on screen with a bang, courtesy OTT platforms

OTTs are the sole reason to revive the sinking careers of a few artists, who have been missing out the big screens.

New Delhi: When the pandemic crises kept the theatres shut for what it seems like an endless period of time, the OTT platforms came to rescue a generation of theatre lovers. OTTs introduced audiences with a vast range of content from different genres, all on a single platform on their screens.

OTTs are also the sole reason to revive the sinking careers of a few artists, who have been missing out the big screens despite having a adroit screen appearance.

These Bollywood actors have earned our praises and affection with their amazing on screen presence on the OTT platforms:

 Sanjay Kapoor

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor’s brother Sanjay Kapoor, who was once consistent in the films went absent from the big screen for quite some time. Kapoor was recently seen in the central role in Amazon Prime released ‘The last hour’. Kapoor played the role of an experienced Police officer, trying to solve murder mysteries with the help of a young Shaman.

R.Madhavan

It was beyond our contemplation as to why the brilliant performer/actor R.Madhvan had stopped appearing into more Hindi films, though the actor was working in the Tamil and Telugu films. It was a blessing for his fans when Madhavan made his web-series debut with Breath, accessible on Prime.

Bobby Deol

Deol’s debut web-series Aashram has been a tremendous hit, accessible on MX Player. The third season of the series is expected to stream soon.

Sharman Joshi

The versatile 3 Idiots fame actor made his debut from web-series ‘Baarish’, streaming on Alt Balaji. The romantic comedy and its actors were lauded  for their performances in the series.

Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek played the role of a dedicated parent in the crime thriller web-series ‘Breath- Into the Shadows’ with utmost perfection. Series is streaming on Amazon Prime.
