Based on the life of Kargil hero Captain Vikram Batra has Sidharth Malhotra playing the lead role. The war hero was awarded the Param Vir Chakra posthumously and played a pivotal role in India’s win against Pakistan during the Kargil war of 1999.

3. Master 

Platform: Zee5

An alcoholic professor, much loved and admired by his students is sent to the juvenile school, where he clashes with a gangster who uses the school children for heinous criminal activities.

4. Sardar Udham

Platform: Amazon Prime Video

The movie is a biopic on freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh, who assassinated Michael O’Dwyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab in British India in 1940, to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

5. Mimi 

Platform: Netflix

Kriti essayed the role of a young woman who turned a surrogate mother to make some money. Pankaj Tripathi encourages her in the movie for surrogacy and stands by her side when things turned out the way.  The movie is a remake of a Marathi film name Mala Aai Vhhaychy.

6. Karnan
