New Delhi: 90’s – A middle-class biopic, one of the much anticipated web series started streaming on OTT platform from January 5 midnight.
The web series starring actor Shivaji is available for public watching, now on ETV WIN App. It is about the Chandra shekars and the twist in their lives and how they collectively get to deal with it, be it societal pressures or individual targets of each family member.
The web-series also made news because it marked return of actor Shivaji on big screen. The actor recently took plunge in politics, entered Bigg Boss Telugu 7 as contestant and is now getting ready to entertain audiences with his theatrics in the new web series named 90s. He has been paired with Tholi Prema, actress known for her role in Anni Manchi Sakunamule.
Movie plot
The six-episode web series is about the story of a government school headmaster and his family from Telangana, as they traverse through the rough terrains of life.
Chandra Sheka, the head of family is a government school headmaster, his wife a housewife and their 3 children including 2 sons & 1 daughter.
The series captures the varied emotions and turmoils of the close-knit family as they get exposed to societal pressures, struggle to pick between patriarchial practices and modern values and strive hard to find a balance despite monetary constraints.
Film cast of 90’s – A Middle-class biopic
The web series directed by Aditya Hasan has an ensemble cast of Vasuki Anand, Mouli, Vasanthika, Rohan, and Snehal Kamat.
Actor Shivaji, main protagonist is also the key attraction of web series. The series shot in the 1990s makes for a captivating story of middle-class life and how it rises to rigours of life during those times.

Shivaji is also earning accolades for perfect portrayal of character. His wife played by Vasuki is also drawing many eyeballs & gaining adulation from public. Mouli Tanuj, a known YouTuber has played the role of Shivaji’s son.
The Telugu web series has been produced jointly by Naveen Medaram and Rajasekhar Medaram jointly.
