New Delhi: Actress Beena Antony and her husband Manoj Nair are well-acclaimed actors in the Malyalam TV serials. The second monstrous wave of Covid-19 didn’t spare them as the actress recently got detected Covid+ and has been hospitalized due to worsening condition.
Beena’s husband and actor Manoj Nair has shared a video on his social media account to share the news. The actress now out of danger, he says.
‘I am crying before God, my parents called daily enquiring about her’
In the video, the actor bursts into tears after narrating the hardships they have been facing after Beena tested positive for the virus.
My sister and child were Covid positive a few days ago. They recovered by staying in quarantine. Beena also sat in room quarantine and thought would recover like that. Oxygen started dropping when checked in oximeter. She had cough and was tired also. She was afraid to go to the hospital. I knew she would be mentally broken if taken to hospital. So, called the doctors and began the treatment. As days passed, her health was deteriorating. I told her can’t wait anymore and if waited anymore, your life would be in danger. As soon as she heard this, she started crying. What can be done, you need to go. She was admitted in Ernakulam Medical college.
In the video, the actor also requested everyone to stay safe amidst the high-risk situation.
“I am saying all these just as a piece of information. Please be careful. Don’t fool yourself by not wearing a mask, have a sanitiser in hand, skip all the gatherings. Don’t think you are fooling police officers or the government. You are fooling yourself.”
