New Delhi: Swara Bhasker and her Political leader husband Fahad Ahmad finally became proud parents after the actress gave birth to their first child on 25 September. Taking to their Instagram handle, the couple made an official statement in which shared the good news with their fans and followers.
The couple wrote, “A prayer heard, a blessing granted, a song whispered, a mystic truth. Our baby girl Raabiyaa was born on 23rd September 2023. With grateful and happy hearts, thank you for your love! It’s a whole new world.” The newly made parents also announced the name of their little one as ‘Raaabiya‘ after an Arab Sufi mystic Rabia of Basra which has two meanings (Queen and Spring).
Along with the good news of their parenthood, the power couple also shared a picture with their newborn daughter.

Back in June, Swara made her fans happy by announcing her pregnancy just four months after exchanging wedding vows with SP leader Fahad Ahmed. Flaunting her pregnant belly, the actress wrote, “Sometimes all your prayers are answered all together! Blessed, grateful, excited (and clueless! ) as we step into a whole new world!”

Swara & Fahad’s Love Story
The Raanjhanna actress’ love story can be cited as a perfect example of love at first sight. Her first meeting with Fahad took place when the duo stumbled upon each other during an anti-CAA protest against the BJP-led Central Government in January 2020. After speaking with each other a little, their vibes matched perfectly and they became good friends who were bound to fall in each other’s love sooner or later.
Finally, In Feb 2023, Swara and Fahad made things official by announcing their espousal publicly. As the merry day arrived, the couple tied the knot in front of their family and friends in a high-profile wedding ceremony. Post turning into the man and wife, the Love Birds also hosted a lavish reception attended by several prominent political figures and celebrities in Delhi.
Notably, the actress also revealed her desire to adopt a child from Orphanage back in 2021.
