New Delhi: The fifth contestant of Kangana Ranaut’s hosted show ‘Lock Upp’ has been revealed on Saturday evening. The maker of the show shared the new name through ALTBalaji’s social media accounts. The tweet stated that Television’s popular actor Kaaranvir Bohra will be part of the show.
Sharing the development, ALTBalaji wrote, ”Iss baar hero ka saamna villain se nahi, Queen se hai.”

Following the announcement, Bohara also took to his social media accounts to share his views.
On Twitter, Bohara wrote, ”Mujhe hai qubool, hamaari queen ka har ek rule! Get ready to watch Lock Upp soon.”

Furthermore, Kaaranvir said, ”My excitement actually has no bounds. I had to contain myself not to tell people that I am doin this, till it does not come out and the reason for my excitement to do this show was just one thing, that one energy, and that energy is none other than Ekta Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and my wife, Teejay Sidhu.”
So far, four names have been revealed by the makers who will be seen in ‘Lock Upp’. Notably, TV actress and model Nisha Rawal became the first contestant of the show. Others include internet sensation Poonam Pandey, Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui, and wrestling champion Babita Phogat.
Details of show
The show will involve 16 controversial pesonalisties. They all will live in lock up for 72 days where they will be given tasks to complete. If they completes the task, they will only get basic amenities.
The show is set to begin on February 27. In the show, Kangana will be seen as jailor who will assign task to the prisoners.
One can see the show on ALTBalaji as well as MX Players. The first episode of the show will be aired on Sunday i.e February 27 from 10 pm to 11 pm.
