New Delhi: Bollywood actor and mega star Amitabh Bachchan bought property at the holy land of Ayodhya worth Rs 14.50 crore. The veteran actor bought the land at the Sarayu by Mumbai based builder ( The House of Abhinandan Lodha) . The land is spread over 10,000 square feet and its 15 kms away from the Ram temple.
Mr Bachchan was quoted saying, “I am looking forward to embark on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart. The timeless spirituality and cultural richness of Ayodhya have forged an emotional connection that transcends geographical boundaries. This is a start of a heartfelt journey into the soul of Ayodhya, where tradition and modernity seamlessly co-exist, creating an emotional tapestry that resonates with me deeply. I am looking forward to building my home in the global spiritual capital.”
Amitabh Bachchan’s home town is Allahabad and is a four hour drive from the Ayodhya city.

The actor’s upcoming film is Kalki 2898 AD directed by Naag Ashwin. The film stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. According to reports this is one of the most expensive films and is scheduled to release in 2024.
